I provide therapy for teens (12+) and adults in a supportive and collaborative environment designed to help clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. Therapy is tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and experiences, using evidence-based approaches that support meaningful and lasting change.

Therapeutic Approaches

EMDR Therapy
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy approach designed to help people process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. Trauma can sometimes become “stuck” in the nervous system, causing emotional distress, anxiety, negative beliefs, and physical symptoms long after an event has occurred.
EMDR helps the brain reprocess these experiences in a healthier way so they no longer feel as overwhelming or emotionally charged. During EMDR sessions, bilateral stimulation — such as guided eye movements — is used while processing difficult memories, helping the brain naturally integrate and heal from past experiences.
EMDR can be highly effective for many concerns, including:
-
Trauma and PTSD
-
Anxiety and panic
-
Childhood trauma
-
Grief and loss
-
Performance anxiety
-
Disturbing life experiences
-
Negative self-beliefs
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety, depression, stress, and other emotional difficulties. Clients learn practical tools and coping strategies that support healthier thinking and emotional well-being.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
DBT focuses on helping clients build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and healthy communication. It can be especially helpful for individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed or struggle with intense emotions.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS helps clients explore and better understand different “parts” of themselves with compassion and curiosity. This approach supports healing by helping clients develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and internal balance.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT helps clients learn how to manage difficult thoughts and emotions while focusing on living a meaningful, values-driven life. Clients develop psychological flexibility and healthier ways of responding to stress and emotional pain.
